PERSONAL NOTE

Hi All.

As you know I live in Sweden but I have been travelling in Asia for 15 months now. Right now we are in South Korea. I loooove food! That is the best thing next after personal development :)

I love all the condiments you get with a meal in South Korea. Just look at that table! It's healthy food too!

Why Negative Thoughts and Feelings are Not Bad For You

The truth is, everyone has negative thoughts and feelings. Some may not be fully aware of them, while others feel them quite intensely. But regardless, everybody has negative thoughts that are running in the background. The only difference is if we are able to feel/see it or not.

There’s a misconception that people who don’t seem to see or who don't seem to feel negative thoughts are somehow more stable. In reality, they may encounter many problems in life without being aware of the underlying cause. They may not realize that these negative feelings can lead to certain behaviors, which, in turn, create problems in their lives. This lack of awareness of negative feelings makes it more difficult for them to solve their issues. They can not undo something they are not aware of.

On the other hand, people who are aware of their negative thoughts and feelings—and feel them more intensely—actually have an opportunity to solve the problem. The problem lies in the negative thought, or to be more correct, the problem is the belief in the negative thought.

Why does the awareness of negative thought and feeling create an opportunity?

Because by acknowledging and identifying the negative feeling, we can trace it back to the negative thought behind it. Once we’ve identified these thoughts, we can see the perception that triggered them. With awareness of this perception, we’re empowered to change it.

This is how we can trace back to the root problem and solve it:

Perception -> Thought -> Feeling -> Body Sensation -> Behavior

I think most people would agree that it’s possible to shift our perception of how we see things. So, in this way, we can use negative feelings to our advantage. Instead of letting negative feelings consume us, we can turn the tables and use them to trace back to their root cause—and ultimately, dissolve them all together.

Don't get to affected by people who says it's something wrong to have these feelings, or that you are too sensitive or that you should just get over it. In my opinion, I believe that people who can feel things more intensely are more developed. I believe they are further in the process of human development, moving toward the next level of consciousness. They have more awareness of their emotions and experiences and are more connected to the world around them and to other people, allowing them to engage more deeply with both their inner lives and external realities.

This perspective aligns with various theories in psychology and philosophy that emphasize emotional intelligence and depth of feeling as markers of personal growth. For instance, researchers in emotional intelligence suggest that those who are more attuned to their feelings tend to have greater empathy and social skills, fostering deeper connections with others.

Furthermore, some spiritual traditions propose that heightened emotional awareness is indicative of a higher state of consciousness, suggesting a path toward enlightenment and deeper understanding.
